Description:
As a Commercial Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing tailored insurance solutions while identifying opportunities to develop new business. This role requires strong sales acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the commercial insurance market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring top-tier client service and retention.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and cross-selling.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure the best terms, pricing, and coverage for clients.
- Oversee policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims support.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all sales processes are fully compliant.
- Provide expert advice on insurance products, policy conditions, and risk management solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize client service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar Commercial Account Executive role within the insurance industry.
- CIP qualification is essential (or working towards MDI).
- Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products, and underwriting processes.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
