The Republic of Ireland On Trade is critical to the delivery of Ireland’s growth ambition, representing 55% of the total Ireland NSV and 65% of the Ireland trading profit. A Diageo Account Executive ows and delivers Diageo performance and growth targets within a defined territory. The role is responsible for the most important element of our business; delivering sales, share and profit growth in the territory by ensuring our customer, category and brand plans shine in outlets.

As an Account Executive, you will be accountable for handling all Tier 1 customer accounts directly where the primary objective is to secure distribution across the full portfolio and activate our brands across different occasions to deliver a triple win for the customer, consumer and Diageo. The Account Executive is responsible for delivering agreed visibility standards, ensuring outstanding quality and coordinating extraordinary activation, delivered through our activation partners. The Account Executive directs this activity within their territory and will play a leadership role across the Hub team.

  • Deliver agreed Volume & Share, cash and profit targets for your territory.
  • Direct management of all Tier 1 outlets, secure distribution and pouring of the full Diageo portfolio in all outlets in the territory, own and deliver the relationship and customer engagement plan for the territory
  • Operate as a consultant to customers through the creation and execution of high impact Joint Business Plans (JBP’s)
  • Leverage data, analytics and insights that unlock sustainable growth opportunities for Diageo and the customer.
  • Return on investment maximised through properly controlled and led customer P&L.
  • Incremental growth opportunities are identified incorporating external events and swiftly actioned through the internal network of commercial cross-functional resources.
  • Sell-out, brilliant execution and Quality focus will be at the core of everything that we do
  • Orchestration of support roles within the Hub and external partners to drive outstanding performance outcomes
  • Influencing to deliver full QDP3 territory targets through external partner across Tier 2 and 3 outlets.
