Accountant

Description:

The Post Holder will in conjunction with the two Assistant Financial Accountants and Operational Department Managers will be assigned the responsibility and accountability for the accounting accuracy and full and complete reconciliation of a selection of the following balance sheet accounting profiles i.e. current assets (including bank reconciliation and liquidity management), current liabilities and capital/fixed asset accounting.

The post holder will also be required to assist in the accuracy and timely completion of the month end and year end Income and Expenditure accounts.

A strong knowledge of financial accounting processes will be required to effectively discharge the duties of the post.

The Post Holder will demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on his/her own initiative is essential.
