CREGG Recruitment are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our clients’ operations based on the Tullaroan Road, Kilkenny. Our client is looking for an experienced candidate with a positive attitude to play a central role in a fast-paced commercial environment. This is a full time, onsite, Monday-Friday role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Running weekly and monthly payroll
- Preparation and management of control account reconciliations. Include intercompany accounts
- Preparation of cash flow projections, forecasts and capital expenditure reports.
- Preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of VAT and RCT filings
- Supporting Heads of Functions with departmental costings.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of group wide controls and processes.
- Assisting in adhoc reports and project work as required.
- Ad hoc duties as per the department.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience minimum.
- Excellent IT/financial systems experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office especially Excel
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent planning and organising skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability with high accuracy.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
