Description:
Our client, a pharmaceutical wholesaler, is looking to hire an accounts assistant to join their finance team. This is a new role, with a growing Irish company based in Tullamore, who will offer career progression opportunities to the successful candidate.

- Accounts administration support through Sage.
- Accounts payable.
- Account reconciliation
- Processing bank payments and reconciliations.
- GL posting and journals.
- Revenue returns (VAT, Customs and Excise)
- Month-end support for the Financial Accountant.
- Compiling weekly account reports in line with KPI’s
- Reporting weekly and monthly data and information across the team as directed by Management.
- Ensure the Administration area is supported by well-documented procedures and review existing procedures regularly and update as necessary.
- General office administration and support to Senior Management as required.
Requirements for the accounts assistant role:
- Minimum of 1 year’s industry experience in an Accounts role
- Experience with SAGE is a distinct advantage
- High level proficiency in the MS Office Suite required
- Proven organisation and time management skills / Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good analytical skills and ability with strong attention to detail
- Data processing and accuracy, handle confidential information professionally
- Proficient verbal, written, presentation and communication skills in English (fluent)
