We are delighted to be partnering with a company who are a vibrant hub for contemporary art, furnishings and cultural events, in their search for a Bookkeeper to come on board. This group of galleries are renowned for showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists, fostering a community of creativity and inspiration. As the group continues to grow, they are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join their passionate team.

 

They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage all financial administration, from accounts payable and receivable and variable expenses to payroll and budgets.

 

There will be great flexibility available with this role.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage invoices and receipts.
  • Reconcile financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Handle payroll functions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Liaise with external accountants for audits and tax preparation.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, experience in the arts or a similar industry an advantage.
  • Experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Xero).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
