Accounts Assistant

 

Description:

Our client is a subsidiary of an established Plc in the energy and engineering space, looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will report to the Finance Manager and work alongside a high performing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in a finance admin function, looking to build on their experience with an impressive business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash receipts, bank reconciliations
  • Record high volume purchases invoices
  • Responsible for recording and processing expenses
  • Assisting Finance Manager in month end sales invoicing, month and year-end reporting and annual audit
  • Involved in process improvements and ad-hoc projects as required

 

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a Finance function
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages - XERO, Oracle Netsuite or similar is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office & Excel essential
  • Highly organised with good time management
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and motivated individual
