Accounts Receivable Assistant

 

Description:

Our client; specialists in the distribution, rental and sale of Construction equipment nationwide are looking for an Accounts receivable assistant to join their team in Westmeath. This role will be office based, it is full time and Permanent.
Responsibilities will include: (Full description available on request)

  • Ensuring customer invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining the Debtors ledger including issuing customer statements, management of Debtor collections & reconciliation of accounts.
  • Resolution of customer queries.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in the month-end process.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Two years relevant experience as an Accounts technician.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines, based on financial calendar.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
