The AIL Operations Specialist will report to the AIL Operations Lead and will be a key member of the team. You will lead a small team, help to build, implement and manage strong processes and programs to support the strategic objectives of this function. They will develop expertise and knowledge of end-to-end processes, tools and initiatives to deliver strategic objectives.

Availability for flexible hours and assistance beyond standard operating hours is required to fulfil business needs and meet operational objectives, potentially including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a small team and act as people lead and career counsellor
     
  • Build a reputation for excellence and responsiveness with key stakeholders and clients of AIL
     
  • Assist in managing and implementing key initiatives aimed at providing innovative tools and processes for our Client Account Teams
     
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications
     
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of performance metrics
     
  • Make sure that operating guidelines and audit controls are met
     
  • Identifies and suggests improved/innovative work processes or ways to improve client (internal and external) service
     
  • Actively identifies or pursues innovative opportunities/approaches to create and deliver client (internal and external) value
     
  • Respond to service requests promptly and effectively
     
  • Resolve or bring up any issues that arise
     
  • Participate in the AIL community
     
  • Participate in ad hoc projects
