Airtricity Commercial Pricing Analyst

Description:

This role will be within the Airtricity Pricing team where you will be supporting on driving forward the strategic vision and provide commercially optimised outcomes through balancing risk and reward to maximise value.

This placement would suit a final or penultimate year student or graduate.

During your 6-month internship you will have a unique opportunity to get a holistic, commercial understanding of the business as this role provides direct exposure to several cross-functioning teams and has visibility of overall strategy and profitability drivers. Your role will include:

• Pricing of contracts and monitoring and processing trading requests from customers.

• Focus on pricing and profitability of our contracts.

• Collaborate closely with the sales teams, energy market and finance teams, product and proposition and marketing teams.

You will have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us, often candidates who join us on intern placements consider joining our Graduate Programmes after graduation.

To be considered for this role we would love you to have:

• Excellent communication skills.

• Adaptability with the desire to work with multiple teams.

• Keen interest in understanding business drivers.

• An interest in commercial pricing and market trends with the desire to develop your current skills.
