Description:
My client are seeking an experienced Algorithm Developer for a leading medical equipment manufacturer. The candidate will lead the design and optimization of firmware and algorithms, focusing on signal processing within a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Algorithm Development and Optimization: Spearhead the design, development, and validation of novel algorithms to enhance overall CGM System performance.
- Data Analysis and Signal Processing: Analyze and mine in-vitro and in-vivo data to uncover opportunities for algorithmic development, improvements and system optimizations. Strong ability to organize, analyze, and interpret complex data to generate actionable insights.
- Modelling and Simulation: Develop dynamic models and utilize simulations to predict system performance and interactions within biological in-vivo environments.
- Firmware and Hardware Integration: Provide insights for firmware and hardware optimization to support seamless algorithm integration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and clinical researchers, to integrate and optimize algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- 10 years in firmware development and algorithm design.
- Proficient in embedded C/C++, micro-controller platforms, signal processing, and real-time systems.
- Experienced with tools like Keil, IAR, GCC, and version control systems.
- Knowledgeable in MATLAB/Python, communication protocols, RTOS, calibration processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
