American Game Content Writer

ELIA GAMES is looking for a part-time American English-speaking content creator and localizer to help with our top mobile games in the American market.

Elia Games is a next generation mobile gaming studio. We aim to build agile and autonomous teams that will produce great games around the world. Founded by an experienced team, we have a unique expertise in mobile games, specifically trivia games.

Our first games, Top 7 and People Say, were immediate hits in France and the US, and have been successfully localized around the world. Now, we’re looking to expand while maintaining our success in these markets.

Job Description:

• Creation and localization of game content. This requires an excellent command of American English language and grammar, but also an understanding of American culture to ensure questions, answers, topics, and images are appropriate for the market. This is the main part of the job.
• Writing descriptions and marketing content for games. This is a more minor part of the job.
• Occasional blog, post or other social media writing.

Requirements:

• American English speaker with exceptional spelling and grammar
• Fluent in English
• Excellent knowledge of American culture
• Ability to work autonomously on both long and short term projects
• Familiar with video calls and project management tools
• Interest in the mobile market (android, iOS) and mobile games is a plus
• Knowledge of French a plus (HQ is in France, but communication will be in English)
