Description:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Application Support Analyst looking to move to the next level with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver IT service aligned with the ITIL methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership for co-ordination and hands on delivery of BAU IT Application Support.
- First Point of Contact for Day to Day IT Application Issues
- Maintain Log of Issues, including incident and problem management based on priorities and associated service levels
- Maintain and develop controls to ensure Applications are performing correctly
- Conduct User Access audits as required by Auditors
- Manage Production, Test and Development systems
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on the Infrastructure and Information Security Teams
- Prepare/eeview technical documents and support documentation
- Co-ordinate IT system change approvals and releases to Production
Skills & Experience
- IT Related 3rd Level Qualification
- 1-2 years + experience in a similar IT Application Support role ideally in Financial Services
- ITIL Service Delivery experience and/or certification (desirable)
- Previous experience with SQL programming and/or interest in developing this skillset is highly desirable
