Tierney’s are highly regarded as the leading independent IT Solutions provider to the Hospitality Industry, with over 28 years’ experience. We provide a complete range of IT hardware and software solutions, support and consultancy services to customers across Ireland and the UK. Reporting into the Head of Business Development, UK & IRL your goal will be to engage, develop and close new business prospects within the Irish market. We are looking for a self –motivated and results orientated Sales professional, preferably with experience in the Hospitality and, or IT sectors. The ideal candidate will have the versatility to amalgamate client visits and travel time with a hybrid home and office working environment.
Successful candidate’s duties will include:
Working together with our Business Development and Sales, Marketing and Account Management teams and personnel.
Research, identify and target prospective customers, seeking face to face meetings with the key stake-holders within organisations
Prepare and deliver company presentations and product demonstrations to existing and prospective customers.
The ability to prepare customer quotations and extended proposals using the company CRM system.
Key account management of a limited portfolio of new and existing clients.
Communicate service and support agreements/ contracts and company SLA’s/ T&C’s with existing and prospective customers.
Continuously expand your product knowledge on Tierney’s range of products and services
Attend networking events and industry specific trade shows. Liaise with other key B2B partners and companies.
Utilise our company CRM system to manage client prospects, sales pipeline, sales activities and processing sales orders.
Continuous review, focus on and endeavor to exceed the company’s Irish Sales targets.
Desired candidate’s skills and experience:
Natural Sales Hunter mentality, eager to develop multiple opportunities, building a healthy pipeline.
Previous sales experience is essential, with proven success in reaching personal and company targets.
Knowledge and experience within the hospitality Industry and POS systems is an advantage.
Good overall level of computer literacy and experience with Microsoft 365 Products Suite.
Results orientated and relentless “can-do” attitude.
Strong Commercial acumen.
Excellent initiative and able to work independently with the flexibility of travelling throughout Ireland.
A positive team player that is dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic.
Must be well presented and have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
