The Associate Director oversees a team of marketing and sales professionals to ensure alignment with business objectives and market growth. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholders, reporting on the progress of product strategy, mentoring team members, and analysing market trends and competitors to meet stakeholder needs.
A day in the life of our Associate Director-Marketing
- Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement marketing plans in line with the business strategy and objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to ensure Teva’s innovative medicines remain competitive. Achieve KPIS’s (sales, market share).
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of marketing and sales professionals. Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and foster career development within the team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multi functional teams to support product launches and promotion.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute product launch strategies for innovative medicines, focusing on promotional activities and ensuring alignment across all departments
- Market Access: Oversee market access activities needed for reimbursement of Austedo and Olanzapine.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and decision-makers, to promote Teva’s scientific image and innovation.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within the allocated budget.
- Sales Support: Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools, materials, and insights to meet commercial objectives. Drive the implementation of marketing materials and campaigns to support sales growth.
- Digital & Omnichannel Strategy: Lead the development and execution of omnichannel marketing strategies, including digital marketing and social media campaigns, to enhance customer engagement.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with regulatory guidelines
- Third-Party Management: Oversee all external agency relationships
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Analysing market and competition movements and developing appropriate (pre) launch activities.
- Effectively communicating the benefits of Teva products to target customer groups,
- Leading the transition of products from launch readiness to launch execution together with the relevant product manager, when needed.

Who We Are Looking For
Are you….
- Degree qualified in business, marketing, or life sciences.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred but not essential.
- Experienced in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector.
- Willing to to commit to a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Do you have?:
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish healthcare landscape, understanding market dynamics, customer segments, and external factors to create and implement successful marketing plans?
- Experience with all elements of the marketing mix, including advertising and market research?
- Knowledge of the application of marketing tools and techniques?
- Experience and detailed knowledge of the CNS or migraine therapy areas (advantageous)?
