Description:
My client is an established 3 partner-chartered accountancy firm based in Ashbourne, Co Meath. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality-chartered accountancy services for over 30 years, with a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables
- Management of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
- Involvement in training of student trainees
- Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
- Preparation and Completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements
- Preparation of tax returns – primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for review
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections
- Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc and also Revenue audits
- Preparation of Working Papers (paperless) & Financial Statements in accordance with
- Relevant Procedures and Standards
- Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal
- Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
- Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner
- Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio
- Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1+ years general accounting practice experience
- Qualified ACCA, ACA, etc. is essential
- An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
- Currently working as a senior in a practice environment
- Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships
- Some tax experience desirable

- Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
