Automation Engineer

Description:

Our client, a well-established company working in the water industry, is seeking to recruit a Junior and Senior Automation Engineer based in their head office in Carlow.

Requirements/Education:

• Demonstrable experience in controls systems design and application.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in PLC solutions with a min of 4 of the following (ABB, Schneider, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Motorola).
• Knowledge of water industry an advantage but not essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Control, development, and modification of software on a variety of PLC systems.
• Design of automation systems and networks.
• Fault diagnostics and modification to existing control and automation systems.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical personnel to achieve project commissioning goals.
