This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to secure their next permanent role. Our client is a well-established commercial construction company based in Dublin. They have enjoyed continued growth for many years. As a result, this company has an urgent requirement for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis to work on live and upcoming tender submissions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the various elements of the prequalification and tender submission process including communication and coordination of activities across the firm for each submission.
- Prepare content for inclusion in submission documents - this may be based on existing precedents or require original drafting to be reviewed by senior managers
- Collaborate with our graphic design team to originate visual supports for inclusion as necessary.
- Post-submission, review and learn from the submission process to continuously improve processes and submissions.
- Maintain a centralised repository of proposal content, templates, and case studies. Work with the Bid Manager to continuously update and improve this database to enhance the efficiency of future proposal development.
- Stay up to date with proposal management tools and technologies to optimise efficiency and enhance the quality of proposals.
Skills / Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally but not necessarily in a CSA / MEP, construction, or engineering environment.
- Excellent written communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and project demands to meet business needs.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure to a high standard.
- Attention to detail even when working in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Ability to effectively engage with diverse teams of senior individuals.
- Ability to work on own initiative, proactive and committed to assignment completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams) is essential.
- Proficiency in InDesign is desirable but not essential.
