Build And Release Engineer

This role is for a highly motivated and experienced Build and Release Engineer that is dedicated to delivering high quality build and release services . Your passion will be in creating and maintaining awesome build and release technology for games as well giving our developers the best and most efficient build experience possible.

 

The Role

You will be responsible for our game client build and release pipeline which you will unify across titles. You will analyse our build process for waste and implement changes to make developing ambitious mobile games more efficient. You strive to create the fastest and most reliable build pipeline possible, using data to monitor performance. You will implement and improve existing tools related to source control, as well as building game clients and assets.

This is a cross-discipline role, where you get the chance to interact with all departments and have a big impact on the game development process. You will work closely with our Game Development, Client Test Automation and QA Teams. 

You will share knowledge with your team, the company, and the world on how we make great games.

Responsibilities

  • As a Build engineer your main focus will be to support the AAA titles we’re working on including Star Trek Fleet Command.
  • Improving key aspects of the client build experience (size, speed, reliability, transparency)
  • Work closely with all departments in supporting different kinds of builds (QA, Release, Review)
  • Improve and maintain the centralised client pipeline for multiple titles.
  • Improve and maintain a cloud based build farm
  • Optimise the developer build experience
  • Investigate and implement generic open source build technologies - and contribute to them whenever possible
  • Develop tools to help automate build release processes
  • Communication between teams

 

Requirements for Candidates

  • Build and Release experience for mobile in general or games Unity experience highly desired!!
