Business Analyst

Description:

Seeking a Business Analyst to join our client within the financial services industry. My client is a strong contender in this space – offering a full range of products and services to more than 25 million customers worldwide through three key areas of their business. The team are looking for a experienced Calypso business analyst to join the team as they expand their operations in Dublin. You will be one of the first business analysts joining the Dublin team so must be comfortable to work both on your own as well as with international teams. This is a permanent opportunity with flexible hybrid working in the Dublin area.

Responsibilities

• Work with technology partners such as software engineers to research and analyst current state system capabilities
• Define technology solution options and recommendations
• Define and document business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Assist testing teams to ensure expected results are finalised with the product
• Scope and estimate project efforts – identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures
• Work with vendors to support business case development
• Showcase a strong understanding of calypso
• Work with multiple cross functional teams – front office, traders and more
• Coach new and less experienced colleagues

Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a business system analyst in the financial services industry
• Excellent hands on experience working with Calypso is a non-negotiable for this role
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in capital markets would be advantageous
• Experience and comfortable acting as a SME in your roles to date
