Business Development

Description:

As our Head of Business Development – Energy Services, you will be responsible for:

• The development and scoping of major retrofit works with Local Authorities and Housing Bodies in line with the National Retrofit Plan
• Key account and stakeholder management of Housing Directors, Senior Engineers and Project Managers on major works programmes
• Development of Tender bids and strategy for the Major Projects teams
• Delivery of growth targets in this space and the responsibility to define a growth strategy for the business area over the next 10 years, this will include contribution to the National Net Zero ambition, extending our client base significantly over that period and growing the team to match these ambitions
• Developing a delivery model and contractor relationships to support the delivery of these programmes, this will include Survey partnerships, turnkey contractors, QS partnerships, Technical expertise etc
• Experience in energy engineering or domestic / commercial retrofit would be a distinct advantage
• Technical competence in energy performance in buildings also would be a distinct advantage
• Pricing and Tender development for technical related building projects is desirable
• Project Management skills
• Key account management and negotiations skills
