Business Development Director

 

Description:

We are excited to partner with a fast-growing organisation within the Gaming sector and support them with the senior appointment of a Business Development Director. This is a key hire for the business and the successful individual must have experience in sales, specifically in the Gaming sector as well as having an existing book of contacts.

As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and leveraging your industry expertise and extensive network, you will identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans focused on the Gambling and Gaming sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market reach and client base.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, including operators, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives and alignment with client needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Forge and nurture strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings and create value for clients.

The Person:

  • A proven track record of working in financial services sales, specifically in the Gambling or Gaming sector with a passion for the industry.
  • Must have an existing book of contacts
  • A proven track record in developing new and existing markets penetration within a sales role
  • A good understanding and experience in payments, FX, banking.
  • Proven track record in driving business growth, forging successful partnerships, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Well-established network of industry contacts, including operators, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market data and identify growth opportunities.
