Description:
As the Business Development Manager at Delamode Ireland, you will play a key role in driving new business, developing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the growth of our logistics and freight forwarding services. You will leverage your deep understanding of the logistics sector, identify new opportunities, and establish strong partnerships that contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets, both short-term and long-term.
- Negotiation & Proposal Development: Lead negotiations with potential clients and prepare tailored proposals and presentations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operational, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and solutions.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and results, providing insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics services, freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies effectively.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
