Business Development Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking a proven Business Development Manager with strong technical knowledge of monitored security systems. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing and implementing growth strategies. You will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and execute strategic sales plans and achieve ambitious sales targets.

 

What would your responsibilities and duties be?

 

  • Developing a sales team to drive sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets
  • Achieving your own individual sales targets and KPIs
  • Cold calling experience
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to existing customer bases across Ireland and the UK
  • Effectively managing and driving the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and accounts for growth and retention
  • Building strong relationships with accounts in Ireland and the UK
  • Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
  • Developing & implementing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis in Ireland and the UK
  • Prepare regular reports and conduct monthly meetings to review performance
  • Representing the company at regional events and trade shows

  • Knowledge of security system monitoring and industry trends

Sales experience:

 

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Security Industry
  • Experience in B2B sales and business development
