Description:
    Entry-level role in Business Development organization. Responsibilities include phone and email follow-up to inbound leads, identifying/adding new contacts to CRM, promoting attendance to upcoming events, and managing BY Chat.
Responsibilities
 
	- Qualify and validate leads for all inbound business development activities (i.e. responding to online or direct inquiries, email and marketing campaigns, corporate events and any other lead generation channels)
 
	- Responsible for chat sales
 
	- Uncover new business opportunities to help fuel sales pipeline
 
	- Partner closely with marketing and other resources to help drive lead generation success and support inbound leads
 
	- Track relevant activities through sales administration system (e.g. contact information, call activity, lead qualification details, lead pipeline, opportunity pipeline) to aid in maintaining communications within sales
 
	- Research industry trends related to supply chain/retail challenges and investment areas to help build meaningful conversations with prospects
	  
Qualifications
 
	- Minimum of 1-2 years’ previous prospecting experience, preferably in enterprise software or technology industries
 
	- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience will be reviewed
 
	- Personable, outgoing, helpful, able to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging manner
 
	- Proven track record of exceptional opportunity generation results
 
	- Experience working in a team sales environment

	- Superior oral and written communication skills
 
	- Minimal travel required
