Zendesk is looking for a Business Development Manager that will develop and train a highly driven and upbeat team of lead generation and business development professionals. The Sales Development team is the first interaction with prospective Zendesk customers and is key to Zendesk's success.
You'll be a success in this role if you have experience in managing, building and inspiring a team to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets. As a manager of Zendesk’s sales team you will be leading highly transparent, strategic efforts for Zendesk - your motivating nature and high attention to detail will be essential.
The ideal candidate has the energy, eye for business, pipeline expertise and interpersonal skills to encourage a team to consistently achieve ambitious growth targets while working in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

What you will do:
Drive and scale sales pipeline & qualified opportunities to fuel Zendesk’s growth in Sunco & Sell
Hire, mentor and lead a team of versatile Business Development Reps (BDRs)
Enable career development of BDRs to help them get to the next stage in their career
Fast and consistent innovation to keep the team’s processes and methodologies agile and ahead of the market
Collaborate intensively with Sales and Marketing and be accountable for high quality pipeline
Background that would be helpful:
Fluency English
5+ years in Software sales, preferably selling a SaaS, Customer Support, or CRM solution
1+ years of people management experience leading a high-functioning teamPassionate about training early career reps, and validated experience building a great working environment
Demonstrable ability to be proactive and creative with sales pipeline development
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify growth opportunities and focus areas
Excellent presentation, organisation, and listening skills
