Description:

There is currently one wholetime permanent vacancy available. A panel may be created for Grade VII Scheduled Care Transformation Programme from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.

To support the implementation of the Scheduled Care Transformation Programme across the designated Hospital Group, working in collaboration with key stakeholders including Consultants, Administrative Staff, HSCPs, the SCTT and others.

Specifically, the holder of this role will be responsible for but not limited to driving the implementation of the Advanced Clinical Prioritisation process, the Reformed Care Pathways and the required e-Enablers initiatives. This is not expected to be an exhaustive list, which may involve:

  • Providing training to colleagues and end users
  • Increasing awareness of new processes/tools
  • Reporting progress as required by the Scheduled Care Transformation Programme

Have satisfactory experience as a Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than that of Grade IV (or equivalent)

Have obtained a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish. Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects in that examination.

Have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction

Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI) in a relevant discipline.

Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.

  • Significant experience of implementing and managing healthcare change or quality improvement projects.
  • Must have experience of working in an acute hospital setting in excess of 2 years.
  • Must demonstrate experience of working with waiting list management systems and scheduled care planning.
  • Experience of operating within a planning and programme management role and / or function within a multi stakeholder environment utilising some or all of the relevant disciplines including:
  • Project Management;
  • Project Delivery;
  • Risk and Issue Management;
  • Resource Demand & Supply Planning;
  • Change Management;
  • Experience of managing and working collaboratively and cross functionally with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to this role.
