Our client is a leading manufacturing and retailing business who has footprints across the region. We are seeking an outstanding individual to join them as their Group CFO to lead the global team.
Position Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee the entire finance function, including FP&A, accounting operations, financial and management reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Implement robust financial controls and risk management processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support business operations.
Company Secretary & Internal Audit
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Oversee the company secretarial function, including the preparation of board papers and minutes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit issues.
Store Planning Investment
- Evaluate investment opportunities for store expansion and refurbishment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop store planning strategies.
Financing & Investor Relations
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors.
- Manage fundraising activities, including debt and equity financing.
- Provide financial insights and updates to investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and maintain transparent communication with the investment community.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive finance leadership experience in the manufacturing and retail industries is essential.
- Prior audit experience in big 4 is highly desirable
- Extensive exposure to the China manufacturing industry is a must-have.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in financing, investor relations, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills in both HK & China
- Highly analytical with the ability to provide valuable financial insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required.
