Chief Technology Officer

Description:

The company has just received $17M in Series B and is looking to onboard a Chief Technology Officer who will take on the entire software engineering team, as well as oversee the development of their technology into new markets and support the development of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic planning for the company and will be responsible for taking the team to new heights!

Responsibilities

· Work closely with the CEO and CPO to lay out technical strategy and execution for the business

· Manage the development, growth and progression of the engineering when it comes to process and technology

· Define and improve the existing and future structure of the technology team to meet growth goals

· Collaborate with the product management and design teams to ensure all product principles are met across markets

Requirements

· Background in developing technology within a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, insurance, etc)

· Previous experience in Leading Engineering functions is necessary

· Experience within healthcare or medical device organizations is an advantage but not a must

· Relevant experience in a high-growth organization (experience in a start-up/ scale-up environment is strongly preferred)

· Experience with working in local and international markets is preferred
