Description:
Supporting Trinity’s Associate Dean for Civic Engagement and Social Innovation, the post holder will be responsible for identifying, designing and implementing strategic priorities; building and strengthening relationships across and beyond the University, identifying and developing engagement opportunities with multiple external and internal stakeholders, and collaborating with a wide-range of partners – including various publics, media, and national and international – to deliver and document the civic and social good of Trinity.
Engagement is fundamental to Trinity College Dublin. A wide array of members of the Trinity community engage with a multitude of stakeholders ranging from local community groups to government departments to international organisations. The priority given to engagement is reflected in Trinity’s strategic plan ‘Community and Connection’, which reflects our conviction that, in an increasingly interdependent world, we need to work together more intensely and in new ways to address the formidable challenges facing us.
