Civil Works Operative

Description:

Dublin Bus has a fleet of over 1000 buses operating from 8 Depots across Dublin. It is a fast pace working environment and takes dedication and teamwork to keep our operation running smoothly.

The role involves general building maintenance, Bus Pole Maintenance and other general tasks as part of the Clerk of Works team.

• General Building Maintenance
• Bus Pole Maintenance
• Cleaning and moving office furniture / equipment
• Driving Company vans and trucks
• Working at heights - use of MEWP and ladders
• Applicant must demonstrate competence and experience in construction or building maintenance
• Applicants must have the ability to ensure delivery of quality maintenance service
• A building related trade qualification is preferable but not essential
• Applicants must hold a valid, clean category B (Car) Irish driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, with no endorsements
• A valid, clean category C (Van) Irish driving licence is desirable (with no endorsements)
