Climate Reporting Lead

In 2021, Bank of Ireland Group ("the Group") published its Sustainability strategy ("the Strategy"). The Strategy comprises three pillars: Enabling Colleagues to Thrive; Enhancing Financial Wellbeing; and Supporting the Green Transition.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the delivery of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) & Climate reporting for the Group based on a deep understanding of the Group's strategic objectives, its Strategy and the needs and interests of key stakeholders.

You will deliver an assured Sustainability Report and will work closely with key leaders across the Group to ensure the timely delivery of all required ESG & Climate disclosures.

This is a 12 month maternity leave contract.

In this role you will

• Deliver ESG & Climate reporting/disclosures to meet all regulatory and voluntary requirements e.g. UN Principles for Responsible Banking (UNPRB), TCFD, Pillar 3 etc, and take a lead on the preparation for upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) obligations;

• Contribute to the developing a data strategy to support reporting and ongoing monitoring of ESG & Climate data;

• Manage and deliver annual ESG & Climate reporting requirements e.g. Annual Group Sustainability report;

• Engage with ESG ratings agencies with the objective of improving ratings and manage ongoing responses to agencies and identify areas for improvement;

• In conjunction with IR, engage with investors and manage responses to investor ESG queries;

• Liaise with third party consultants who may provide support for the delivery of reports and / or independently assure same.
