Description:

The post of Clinical Practice Facilitator has been developed within St. James’s Hospital as a key element of its Human Resource strategy.

The principal purpose of the role is to provide clinical practice support, direction and guidance for the nursing team* in the general medical surgical wards. The post holder will also have responsibility for promoting nursing practice development initiatives and facilitating implementation of evidenced based practice in collaboration with all grades of nursing staff.

*Nursing Team & *Nursing refers to CNMs, Staff Nurses, Health Care Assistants (HCAs), Candidate Nurses, Pre-registration Nurses.
