Bantry General Hospital is unique in providing both acute and residential services to the rural population of west cork and south Kerry. Bantry General Hospital is a 90 Bed rural and remote model 2R Acute General Hospital providing inpatient, outpatient and day patient services. Our Surgical activity is all day case planned procedures. The acute hospital provides 24 hour medical service inclusive of Medical assessment unit, Acute medicine, Stroke and Rehab. Our residential HIQA registered unit provides residential, respite, and palliative care services.
The Clinical Nurse Manager III has a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Director of Nursing in the delivery of and management of nursing Rosters.
The post holder will also deputise for the Assistant Director of Nursing in their absence.
The post holder will lead and co-ordinate delivery of the nursing and support service in an operational role which will include Rostering, and the roll-out of NISERP.
