We are hiring Clinical Nurse Specialists- Tissue Viability in a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide expert knowledge, clinical skills, and advice on wound management and pressure ulcer prevention and treatment.
- To clinically treat wounds requires specialist knowledge and skills.
- To provide clinical leadership by advising and assisting with the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care on prevention and treatment of tissue damage.
- To assist the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for tissue damage. Makes expert recommendations and advises multidisciplinary teams on appropriate evidence-based treatment regimes.
- To work closely with the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of group and individual education sessions with residents/patients and family members.
- To facilitate the development of research appreciation and critical awareness of clinical staff, demonstrating awareness of the application of evidence-based practice in their clinical decision-making.
Requirements
- Registered on the Live Register in the general Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Must have Two years post registration experience in Tissue Viability
- Hold/willing to work towards a post-graduate diploma in Tissue Viability Nursing
