Clinical Nurse Specialist Haematology

Description:

The purpose of this Clinical Nurse role is to provide increased access to specialised Haematology nursing care for patients referred to the Haematology services at Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre for investigation, diagnosis and management of blood cancers. This role will focus on early detection and survivorship in haematological malignancies. The appointee will work within the acute and outpatient haematology service as a member of the team.

The post holder’s practice is based on the five core concepts of Clinical Nurse Specialist role as defined by the NCNM 4th edition (2008) in order to fulfil the role. The concepts are:
