"• Have successfully obtained spirometry accredited training such as the Irish Association of Respiratory Physiologists (IARS) 'CPD Certificate in Spirometry for Healthcare Professionals' or equivalent, or commit to undertake and complete the IARS programme, as soon as possible following appointment. A formal written commitment will be required from the applicant if a job offer is made. It is recommended that the CNSp in consultation with line management consider completing the Nurse & Midwife Medicinal Product Prescribing and/or Nurse Prescribing Ionising Radiation programmes in line with the evolving service requirements."
