Description:
I'm seeking a Cloud Architect on a contract/freelance basis for a Pharmaceutical customer of mine. You should be able to design and implement Azure cloud solutions. Collaborate with our teams to ensure top-notch performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud architectures.
- Provide technical leadership on Azure best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams for application deployment on Azure.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
- Ensure compliance with security policies.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Stay updated with Azure services and recommend new solutions.
- Mentor team members on Azure technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect focused on Azure.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification.
- Deep understanding of core Azure services (VMs, Azure Storage, SQL Database, Functions, Virtual Network, Active Directory).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity management.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI).
