Our client, a prominent leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager to join their Information Technology team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role will focus on managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring its robustness and scalability.
- Lead a team of infrastructure engineers, providing guidance and support in their ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure against any potential threats.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and cost efficiency is maintained.
- Develop best practices for infrastructure deployment and maintenance, including disaster recovery planning and data backups.
- Execute capacity planning and performance assessments to handle anticipated changes in scale.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructures, ideally within the insurance or financial sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team of infrastructure engineers.
