Cloud Test Lead

Description:

We are in search of an experienced Software Test Lead or Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in AWS testing. Your role will involve spearheading innovative projects and providing guidance to QA teams.

You will work closely with the Senior Test Engineering Manager, who oversees the testing strategy for Mobile Apps and manages the Cloud environment. This hire marks a significant strategic initiative for the company in Ireland.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Outline the test engineering strategy for our client’s AWS Cloud Environment.
• Lead and mentor both onshore and offshore test engineering teams, providing guidance and assistance.
• Contribute to shaping the test automation strategy for our client’s AWS Cloud Environment.
• Actively collaborate within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, embracing Agile principles, methodology, and tools.
• Play an essential role in the team's daily manual and automation testing endeavours.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Recent hands-on involvement in AWS environments accompanied by essential experience in AWS testing, particularly in microservices and API testing.
• Experience with the following Automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO.
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Node.js and Typescript.
• Strong commitment to advocating quality within application and cloud engineering teams.
• Experience with Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) is a bonus.
• Advocacy for quality, promoting transparency in reporting.
