Cluster Sales Manager

 

Description:

The Morgan Hotel, The Trinity City Hotel and The Spencer Hotel, members of the MHL Hotel Collection, are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Cluster Sales Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Building, managing and maintaining relationships with local companies.
  • Negotiating rate agreements on a local level only.
  • Assisting with RFPs as necessary.
  • Seeking out and attracting corporate group business.
  • Assist the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing (CDOSM) building and managing relationships with DMCs and any key local providers.
  • Assist the CDOSM in building and managing relationships with key Tour Operators.
  • Assist the CDOSM in executing the strategy for meeting & events in some properties.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of proactive hotel sales experience.
  • Experience of the corporate market in Dublin City Centre is preferable, but not essential.
  • Must be able to “Knock on doors” to get the business. Confident and experienced with cold calling, online and offline research.
  • Persuasive negotiating skills and ability to convert business.
  • Ability to achieve targets for appointments and converted business.
  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing) and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems.
  • Effective decision making skills.
