Description:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Commercial Account Executive. Reporting to the Team Leader and head of existing business, you will play a pivotal role in managing policy renewals and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored insurance solutions. Your primary focus will be on client retention, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities to expand our client base. This position demands strong relationship management, negotiation, and sales skills to optimize client portfolios and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term loyalty.
- Renewal Oversight: Oversee the renewal process for commercial insurance policies. This includes reviewing terms, negotiating renewals, and ensuring timely completion.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate clients' risk profiles and provide expert advice on suitable insurance products and coverage options.
- Exceptional Service: Provide outstanding service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Target Achievement: Ensure New Business and Renewal targets are achieved consistently.
- Compliance Implementation: Implement company compliance and office procedures, including the New Business Development and Renewal Procedures document.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market practices and product availability, providing feedback to management regarding market issues, including pricing, service levels, and product development.
- Team Collaboration: Where required, work with other teams within the group to facilitate training, product development, and promote operational efficiencies.
About You:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a commercial insurance role.
- Qualifications: Minimum APA OR CIP
- Product Knowledge: Excellent technical product knowledge and understanding of the commercial insurance market.
- Portfolio Management: Proven track record in managing a portfolio of clients, especially in handling policy renewals and addressing client inquiries.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for both clients and the company.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
