My Client is a leading Irish Distribution within the home improvement space and due to continued growth are now looking for a Commercial Executive to join the Business. With head offices in Ireland ( North Dublin ) and a larger operation in the UK ,my client is someone who has strong organisational skills and excellent interpersonal skills and has the determination to succeed. ( my client who have been in operation close to 10 years have a start up feel- and on a positive note, a lot of staff have been there since the start- and they have experienced over 20% growth in the last 2 years)
I had a very enjoyable meeting with the Head of Sales- Damian- ( Damian is a big sell to the role; he has a wealth of experience in a number of different sectors and is a fair and approachable boss ) and he said “ Denis for this role, we are looking for someone who can work well under pressure; has a customer focus approach and equally can be a real help to our Key Account Managers- in identifying opportunities. This is a very diverse role and the successful candidate must be comfortable with systems; be analytical and calm under pressure and be driven to hit their bonus.”
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
Analyze and produce weekly sales reports to support the sales team.
Processing orders and dealing with customer enquiries.
Collaborate with marketing to align sales and marketing efforts.
Assist the sales team with sales enquiries.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify gaps.
CRM Management
Oversee and assist in the implementation of a new CRM system.
Take full ownership of the CRM system once implemented.
Responsible for running and analyzing reports from CRM.
Ensure teams are using CRM correctly.
Project Management
Collaborate with the launching of new products.
Manage the new product launch process from start to finish.
Liaise with all departments to ensure information is gathered to guarantee an on-time product launch.
Review product launches to identify what has been successful and what can be improved.
Experience Requirements –
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
High knowledge of excel.
Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
