Description:
The Financial Analyst duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing commercial offerings, including discounting structure, payment terms, incentives and other client requests.
- Assist with commercial negotiations during the bid defense process; make decisions in line with agreed company policy.
- Offer commercial recommendations and solutions to senior management.
- Point person for prompt response to ad-hoc requests.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial and business case analyses using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Partner externally with Client Finance and Outsourcing counterparts, and internal with Business Development, Proposals, Operations, Finance, Legal and Contracts.
- Develop automated tools and trackers to improve the internal commercial offering review process.
- Ensure integrity of the margin profiles and manage these rates to meet the commercial targets of the division.
- Ensure integrity of the pricing tools so as to ensure precision and accuracy for both internal analysis and client deliverables.
- Effective utilization of available financial and operational tools and data to aid better decision making.
- Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.
To be considered for the Financial Analyst position, you will need:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
- 2 - 3 years PQE with preference being in Commerical Finance but other PQE accepted.
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with your business partners.
- Analytically minded seeks out problem-solving opportunities.
- Very strong focus on accuracy and quality of information provided, attention to detail.
- Very strong focus on delivery of quality outputs in a timely manner to clients (internal and external)
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks at a time.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
