Description:
- Technically excellent and with previous commercial litigation experience.
- Genuine interest in developing a career in financial services litigation.
- Previous financial services litigation or insolvency experience valued but not essential.
- Ideally have spent a majority of time in private practice working in commercial litigation.
- Enthusiastic and a team player.
- Self-starter, practical, and with an eye for detail.
- Commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.
- Strong academic background, excellent communication and organisational skills.
Candidate & Role Summary
This represents an exciting opportunity and we are looking for the right individual. Our rapidly expanding Commercial Litigation team at Pinsent Masons (Ireland) has become a market leader in commercial litigation disputes, acting in high value cases for household names, including high value commercial court proceedings on a range of different matters. We work with clients across a range of sectors including financial services, automotive companies, aircraft lessors, tech companies, suppliers and manufacturers.

We regularly work closely with our colleagues across the PM global network, including in London, across the UK, in France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands in relation to cross border litigation.
The role will include working directly with the Partners and senior team members on the following:
- Acting in general Commercial Litigation matters including financial services litigation, regulatory disputes and insolvency matters.
- Developing ongoing relationships with an existing client base as well as involvement in identifying and pitching for new opportunities.
- Developing close working relationships within the Dublin practice and our colleagues in the wider international PM team.
- Work on creating marketing material, pitches, client meetings, know-how and business development
