Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning process for protection and control systems in 220kV substations.
- Conduct thorough testing of protection relays, control systems, and associated equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during commissioning, working closely with engineering teams and contractors.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, procedures, and records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in commissioning protection and control systems in high-voltage substation projects, preferably at 220kV.
- Proficiency in protection relay testing, control system commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for high-voltage substation protection and control systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
