We are currently seeking a Communications and Events Co-ordinator, based in Dublin. The communications function plays a meaningful role in the company’s success and employee engagement. The successful candidate will work as part of the communications team supporting the Fidelity Ireland organisation. The scope of this position is broad in nature requiring versatility and excellent attention to detail. They will report to the Director of Communications, Events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and will be responsible for supporting a number of internal and external initiatives interacting with all levels across the organization.

This position requires someone who can provide high efficiency and proactive support in a professional manner, with the ability to accommodate different working styles and prioritize their own work.
- Support the Ireland internal communications planning to facilitate engagement, advocacy and inform associates
- Be responsible for content creation for a variety of internal and external communication channels including written materials, creative e-invites, announcements, presentations, surveys, digital signage, development of marketing/promotional collateral and any other documentation that may be required.
- Using relevant channels available to you cascade communications through written, electronic, video and face-to-face communication channels, working under tight deadlines.
- Lead the creation and issuing of our weekly internal newsletter to Fidelity Ireland associates.
- Coordinate communication channels that connect our associates to our message including Microsoft suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Yammer, Teams), Fidelity’s Communications Management Tool, Scala and Zoom
- Provide general communications support to all associates.
- Calendar and mailbox monitoring, filtering, and responding to associates
- Support end-to-end planning, scheduling, and management of logistics for all internal and external Fidelity Ireland events with audiences of up to 1000 associates.
- As part of the Ireland communications team, you will contribute creative ideas and concepts for events
- Responsible for the creation of content to support events including invites, surveys, slides, videos, photo reels etc.
- Work with third party vendors to support the successful delivery of all events
- Support our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by working closely with our non-profit partners and associate volunteers to deliver on our CSR strategy
- Support CSR processes and programs to ensure our mission is maximized and resources are used effectively and efficiently. Align with Fidelity’s global CSR initiatives and objectives
- Support the continuous improvement of our events and CSR programs by measuring and tracking the effectiveness of each program through feedback and analysis
- Complete administrative tasks associated with our events and CSR programs
