Communications & Events Intern

Our communications function plays a critical role in the company’s success and employee engagement. You will work as part of the team supporting the Fidelity Ireland organisation. The scope of this position is broad in nature requiring versatility and excellent attention to detail. You will report to the Director of Communications, Events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), however, you will work closely with the Senior Manager, Communications and CSR, and will be responsible for supporting several internal and external initiatives interacting with all levels of the organisation in the process.

• Communications support for events and executive visits. This may include preparation of written materials including creative e-invites, announcements, presentations, surveys, development of marketing/promotional collateral and any other documentation that may be required.
• Cascade of communication through written, electronic, video, and face-to-face communication channels, working under tight deadlines.
• Create and manage web content for internal and external channels.
• Management and maintenance of team SharePoint sites and Digital Signage.
• Calendar and mailbox monitoring, filtering, and responding.
• Support end-to-end planning, scheduling, and management of logistics for events such as All-Hands, Executive visits, business group meetings, Round Tables, etc. Events can range from 10 people to 1000 people depending on type of event and business area.
• Contributing creative ideas / concepts for events.
• Engaging with vendors to effectively plan and deliver events (including event management agency, AV / Lighting, venues, catering etc).
• Effective management of communications and event calendar.
• Support our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
