Description:
Exciting opportunity for a Communications Graduate to spend 12 months in Galway working on a wide range of internal and external communications projects for one of Ireland’s largest multinational companies.
You will join an experienced Communications team integral to the continued development and success of the Galway campus. You will develop a core skill set to take your Communications career to the next level by providing support across a range of specialisms including content creation, social & digital campaigns, media relations, internal events & communications projects.
- Write a variety of content to support internal and external communications projects, including presentations, website copy, social media posts and press releases
- Contribute to development and implementation of communications strategy designed to further Boston’s Scientific’s objectives
- Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices
- Perform basic communications channel analysis and compare results to relevant performance metrics, monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
- Coordinate volunteers, support staff, vendors and more to support promotional events
- Support meeting management, travel arrangements, calendar management, supply maintenance and mail distribution processes.
- Hons Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred, but role open to all graduates with strong writing skills, a high level of creativity & the ability to think analytically
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Confidence to build internal and external networks.
- Strong social media knowledge & skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
