A Communications Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based Manufacturing based client. This is a one-year contract with a view to permanency. If you are a Proactive individual this position will offer you an excellent career opportunity!!!
Role of this position
- Responsible for the coordination all aspects of internal communications
- Support the client's management team in developing the company's ongoing corporate social responsibility projects such as diversity and team wellbeing agendas
- Lead and co-ordinate virtual and onsite tours
- Lead and co-ordinate relevant communication on internal website and social networking apps where appropriate (e.g., Workplace, LinkedIn)
- Develop promotional content to show and enhance the expertise and reputation of our colleagues.
- Responsible for coordinating selected meetings, including team meetings, supporting operational strategy plans to identify opportunities and to drive engagement across the business's stakeholders
- Support to management team in the engagement with local Universities, institutes, attendance at career fairs and events to attract talent into the organisation
- Support the management team in developing a modern and progressive R&D culture
- Drive engagement events at the company.
- Support the management team to drive Continuous Improvement of all processes and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications in Business Studies, Communications, Marketing or another relevant field or experience
- Excellent Communications, Organisational and Customer Service Skills
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, MS Teams, Sharepoint) and IT skills
- A keen understanding of digital trends and their potential impact on current and future communication, R&D marketing and engagement plans
